SMS consent

Order text updates

Customers may optionally choose transactional text updates while placing a pizza order at chefshayala.com. SMS updates are highly recommended, but ordering does not require SMS consent.

Public opt-in flow

1. The customer enters a name and mobile number during checkout.
2. The customer may actively check the separate, unchecked SMS consent box shown below. A valid opt-in previously recorded for that mobile number may also be reused.
3. Only customers with recorded consent receive automated pickup reminders, order-status updates, delay notifications, and Ready notifications.

Message purpose

Messages are limited to the customer’s current order, including order receipt, payment confirmation, pickup reminders, order-status updates, delay notifications, the pickup address, and Ready notifications. During service, I am actively making pizzas and generally cannot answer calls or individual messages. Your selected pickup time remains valid whether or not you opt in to text updates or receive a reminder. Chef Shayala’s Pizza does not require consent to purchase and does not sell or share SMS opt-in data for third-party marketing.
